The electricity grid is overloaded and the energy transition is accelerating. To solve this, we at Alliander need a great many people. Specialists and career changers! In engineering and IT. They are not actively, or only passively, looking for work, and because Alliander is not known as an IT employer or for its career transition opportunities, finding colleagues is a challenge. The low awareness means that a large proportion of the target audience does not even consider making a move.
We started with a strategy to attract these target groups. Based on strong positioning as an attractive employer in the labour market. Starting from the principle of creating a positive association that would encourage them to consider a potential move.
The ‘100 good reasons’ campaign was developed from this strategy. You can get a good salary anywhere. Free training is available in fewer places. And where else can you work on the energy transition in the Netherlands? There is not just one reason to work at Alliander. There are as many as 100 reasons. That is how we came up with ‘100 good reasons to work at Alliander‘. A campaign created by colleagues for new colleagues.
