Public transport

When arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, follow the signs to the ferries and take the IJzijde exit. Take the free F3 ferry to Buiksloterweg. This 24/7 ferry service is free of charge and departs every few minutes. The ferry ride takes less than five minutes. After arriving, it is approximately a three-minute walk to Eye.

From Amsterdam-North, Eye is also accessible by bus. Take line 38 and get out at the stop Buiksloterwegveer.

Car route and parking

Eye does not have a parking garage. The closest indoor parking right next to Eye is A’DAM Parking, below the adjacent A’DAM Tower. Use Eye Filmmuseum as navigation address. Please note: the number of available parking spots is very limited. Would you like to secure a parking spot? It is possible to book in advance at Parking Centrum Oosterdok and Parkeergarage IJDock. These parkings are on the other side of the IJ, near station Amsterdam Centraal, and approximately a 20-minute walk (including ferry).

Accessible parking
There are two parking spots for people with a disabilty in the A’DAM Tower parking garage. Please take the exit ‘A’DAM Tower’ which has an automatic door to outside.

Please note:
Due to construction activities, (the area around) Eye may be difficult to reach. We advise you to follow the temporary yellow traffic diversion signs to avoid unnecessary detours. Before you set off on your journey, check for roadworks.
